What you do here
You create an order, describe the scope and assign it — to someone in your company or to an external firm. They accept, do the work and report completion. You sign off, sign off with reservations, or reject with a reason; a rejection sends the order back for rework.
Why two steps at the end
“Completion reported” and “signed off” are deliberately separate. One side reports, the other accepts. Merging them loses exactly the record a work order exists for — when was it delivered, when accepted, and why not if it was rejected.
External companies
With the “External access” module booked you can assign an order directly to an external company. They see only their own orders — no drafts, nothing from other companies — and can only accept and report completion, nothing else.
